The complicated 231 shift linkage is poorly designed and just gets so sloppy between the extra linkage, pivot points, and loose bushings. This kit supplies a shift lever that will replace the existing one on the case and be orientated to where it will point up. This allows us to run a direct linkage from the shifter to the t case shift lever. Included with this kit will also be a replacement linkage complete with heim joints for the tightest and most responsive shifting possible. We will also include all needed hardware to assemble the linkage and bolt it up.

Great replacement

Was having problems with shifting and popping out of gear with my 231. Heard about this product with good reviews. Purchased and installed. Was an easy install and once adjusted work like a charm. Been offroad with it several times now and absolutely none of the previous issues and no new ones. Would definitely give a high recommendation.

great deal

Took me a little while to get it ajusted right but I took the heep wheeling all day and I gotta say the shift Linkage works great! Shifts are smooth no popping out of gear and no more rattle. Thank you ! 92 xj aw4 231 with sye and no drop

Solid Option

The factory linkage is a terrible setup that likes to bend in high stress situations. This cuts out all of that. Installation of the new linkage was fast and easy. The joints and new shift paw are nice, but the nuts and bolts supplied with the setup could be better.

truly sweet!!

the old one was popping in and out of 4 low and when your about to drop off a rock face the last thing you wanna think about is holding your shifter in 4 low and steering with one hand, i 100% love it!!!

t-case shift linkage

Installed as soon as I got it. Everything went great. Took just a little bit to get the right adjustment but that's expected with everything. Once adjusted right it works great took care of the hard shifting problems. Highly recomended.
