Our Crossover high steer kit consists of a heavy duty tie rod and drag link machined from 1-1/4" solid hex steel drilled and tapped to accept left and right hand 7/8" Ruffstuff chromoly heim joints. These joints come heat and cryo treated from the factory complete with a nylon injected race for quiter and longer lasting life. The left and right hand thread make doing your alignment easy with the turnbuckle style of adjustment. The kit comes complete with all bolts, heims, and high misalignment spacers.
With this setup the draglink runs over the knuckle. The tie rod can run under or over the knuckle depending on what will work best for your setup; lift height and track bar choice. So if you run the tie rod UTK; the center of the draglink joint will be 1" higher then the top knuckle (3" higher then stock). If you run the tie rod OTK with the draglink stacked on top of it; then the center of the draglink joint will be 1-7/8" higher then the top of the Knuckle (3-7/8" higher then stock). This kit is best if combined with an over the axle track bar and relocation kit as now your draglink will most likely be alot more level then your track bar. To reduce bumpsteer, you want your drag link and track bar to be as parallel as possible.
Like with any crossover steering kit, you will need to remove and or relocate your axle sway bar mounts to clear the tie rod as well as drill out the knuckles and pitman arm TRE holes to 5/8".
